CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Deadline: July 12, 2024

ICPHSO (International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization) is now accepting proposals for sessions at its 2024 International Symposium in Brussels, Belgium October 16-17, 2024:

"ICPHSO International Symposium 2024 | Bridges for Global Product Safety"

Whether you are a manufacturer, retailer, distributor, consumer, consumer or parent advocate, regulator, NGO, academia, consultant, test laboratory, lawyer, service provider, or other product safety stakeholder, we invite you to submit proposals.

Possible Themes

We encourage proposals which relate to this topic and set out some possible themes for sessions:

  • Product recalls: complying with new legal requirements and approaches by regulators
  • Expanding concept of safety: putting into action
  • EU digital product passport: issues, opportunities and actions
  • How to develop accessible safe products
  • Linking policy to better safety outcomes
  • Collaboration between stakeholders for better policy outcomes
  • The role of product safety in broader policy objectives

We also welcome other fresh, creative ideas relevant to the theme of "Bridging the Gap: Linking Policy to Action".

In addition, we continue to be interested in sessions on other topics to ensure that the program is of broad interest and use to all attendees.

To help you, we have out proposal instructions in a downloadable doc:

  • Format of sessions
  • Proposal requirements, guidelines, and the selection process
  • How to make your submission
  • Timelines and what to do if you have any questions

Please review the proposal instructions prior to making a submission.
