2018 ICPHSO Northwest Regional Product
Safety Training Workshop
Hosted by Amazon
June 19, 2018 (7:30 am - 5:00 pm)
Building off this year’s 2018 ICPHSO Annual Meeting and Training Symposium, the theme of this training workshop is “Product Safety in the Information Age: Employing Data for Better Understanding and Solutions.”
The one-day training workshop provides an opportunity for health and safety professionals to participate in discussions on the challenges posed to product safety with emerging technology, new and innovative products, and the best practices developed for managing outcomes.
Workshop speakers will include industry executives, members of the legal community, consumer representatives, service providers including test labs, and recalls specialists, as well as regulators from Health Canada and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Workshop training focuses on the use of technology to reduce risks through better understanding of the available tools to better prepare for the future.
